Pillsight Privacy Policy
Pillsight is built and maintained by Studio Parkar. This policy explains what data is processed when you use Pillsight.
1. Data We Collect
- No account is required.
- We do not ask for your name, email, or precise location to use core app features.
- Pill images may be sent to AI processing endpoints to return a count result.
- Scan history (count, confidence, timestamp, optional label, and image copy) is stored locally on your device.
2. How Data Is Used
- To detect and count pills from photos.
- To provide subscription status and entitlement checks.
- To improve reliability and operate the service.
3. Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat: subscription and purchase state management.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: billing and app distribution.
- AI inference providers used for image-based counting.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy and practices.
4. Storage and Retention
- Local scan data stays on your device unless you export/share it.
- You can delete local history in Settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes local app data from device storage per platform behavior.
5. Children's Privacy
Pillsight is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
6. Security
We use standard security controls, including encrypted network transport where applicable, but no system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

Pillsight is not medical advice and not an FDA-regulated medical device. Always verify pill counts manually and consult qualified medical professionals for care decisions.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated policy.
